As a Lead Software Engineer - Data Analytics within the Corporate Data and Analytics Services group, you will join an agile team to build and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
Write secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code from other team members.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Utilize SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to increase the value of software operations.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically Java or Python.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, security, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
In-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems and practical cloud native experience in AWS.
Experience with PiSpark, Mongodb, Oracle, Unix (preferred).
Experience working with generative or agentic AI in design and coding (preferred).
