As a Lead Software Engineer - Data Platform within the Corporate Technology organization, you will join an agile team focused on building and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. The role requires advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, experience with cloud native technologies, and a deep understanding of financial services IT systems. You must also master the full Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
Write secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by others.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Utilize SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to increase the value of software delivery.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience (NAMR/APAC - India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong).
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience (EMEA/LATAM-Brazil).
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and security.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
