What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end disaster recovery tests for all applications within the product portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain resiliency frameworks using automated product offerings and repeatable patterns.
  • Define and monitor RTOs and RPOs for all product components to track architectural gaps.
  • Automate disaster recovery provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform across application teams.
  • Drive chaos engineering scenarios using AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS) and Resilience Hub.
  • Build advanced detection capabilities leveraging AWS Resilience Hub and CloudWatch alerts.
  • Establish and execute technical DR playbooks, documenting sequence mapping and dependencies.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, Disaster Recovery Planning, or Distributed Systems Engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud architectures and DR-enabling services like Elastic Disaster Recovery and multi-AZ deployments.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Bash) and IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ability to develop and maintain resiliency frameworks for automated product offerings and repeatable patterns.
  • Experience leading end-to-end disaster recovery tests and real-time failover events across applications.
  • Drive chaos engineering and resiliency testing using AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS) and Resilience Hub.
  • Establish and execute technical DR playbooks, ensuring detailed documentation of sequence mapping and dependencies.
