This role involves leading a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions that meet regulatory needs. You will build robust cloud-based solutions, manage distributed microservices, and mentor other engineering community members. The position requires utilizing Java, Python, HTML/CSS, Open Source RDBMS, and NoSQL databases. You will also work with container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS tools. The work focuses on evolving the foundational cloud infrastructure layer, specifically addressing critical areas of observability, connectivity, resilience, and availability within the company's technical environment.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.

Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases for data management.

Experiment with new technologies and participate in internal and external tech communities.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java or Python (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred).
