What you'll do

Own and define frontend architecture including UI frameworks, state management, and application structure.
Design and build GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and Node.js services for real-time data experiences.
Establish engineering standards, reusable components, and best practices for long-term scalability.
Lead technical design reviews, guide implementation, and mentor team engineers.
Ensure software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability.
Use AI coding assistants and Spec-Driven Development to drive daily engineering delivery and refactoring.
Set team guardrails and verification standards for AI-assisted engineering and prompt patterns.
Coach engineers on using AI tools effectively to raise productivity across teams.

What we're looking for

Experience in software engineering with strong expertise in frontend architecture (preferred).
Experience leading a team of engineers, including across multiple time zones (preferred).
Strong experience with Angular, RxJS, state management (NgRx or similar), JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend design patterns (preferred).
Hands-on experience building backend services with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar) (preferred).
Strong experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs (Apollo or similar), including schema design, subscriptions, caching, and performance tuning (preferred).
Experience integrating real-time data systems (WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions, event-driven architectures) (preferred).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (preferred).
Proven, heavy use of AI coding assistants such as Claude and GitHub Copilot in production delivery (preferred).
