What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and maintain foundational platform capabilities using native web technologies and Web Components.
  • Build framework-agnostic systems designed for long-term evolution and scalability.
  • Architect browser-based systems by leveraging deep knowledge of rendering, events, networking, and performance.
  • Lead the architecture and operation of large-scale, globally distributed client applications to ensure high availability.
  • Provide architectural leadership through thoughtful code reviews and hands-on mentorship of the engineering team.
  • Translate user needs from product managers into robust technical solutions for the Graph platform.
  • Set high standards for code quality, testing, and operational rigor across the engineering team.

What we're looking for

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience building, testing, and operating complex web applications.
  • Proven track record of owning deep technical areas and delivering platform-level systems.
  • Deep expertise in at least one core area of browser technology such as rendering, performance, networking, or Web Components.
  • Strong proficiency with Web Components, including Custom Elements and Shadow DOM.
  • Experience building framework-independent or low-level platform abstractions.
  • Experience building developer tooling or extensibility systems (preferred).
  • Experience with node-based or visual programming systems (preferred).
