As a Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate Sector-Chief Technology Office, you will join an agile team focused on building and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for designing creative software solutions, developing high-quality production code, and troubleshooting complex problems across various business functions. Your daily work involves driving the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed while ensuring secure coding standards. You will manage the full Software Development Life Cycle using tools like Kubernetes, AWS services including EKS, Lambda, and DynamoDB, and programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Go. Additionally, you will lead community of practice initiatives and evaluate architectural designs involving Artifactory, GraphQL, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure operational stability.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs including security, performance, and correctness.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
Implement automation and continuous delivery methods across the software development lifecycle.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency with AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and RDS.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, testing, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java/Spring Boot.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security; experience with Artifactory, GraphQL, or monitoring tools (preferred).
