What you'll do

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex, high-visibility Tableau dashboards and workbooks.
  • Explore datasets to build interactive visualizations that allow stakeholders to discover trends and insights.
  • Mentor developers through technical guidance, design and code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Lead data integration across warehouses, SQL/NoSQL databases, and APIs using Python and automation.
  • Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
  • Define and manage high-priority strategic initiatives with clear outcomes, governance, and delivery plans.
  • Define and report key management metrics to monitor the health and performance of global operations.
  • Partner with technology teams to advance roadmaps for advanced analytics and cloud adoption.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
  • Expert hands-on Tableau experience including complex dashboard design, development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
  • Knowledge of analytical and BI tools including Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Grafana.
  • Project experience using SQL, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Python, R, and Alteryx or comparable tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouses, data modeling, and connections to diverse databases, data types, and data structures.
  • Extensive API experience including designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs and BI platform integrations.
  • Python experience in analytics, data processing, automation, or BI development, including experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development.
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (preferred).
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems (preferred).
  • Practical cloud native experience (preferred).
