What you'll do

Design, build, and optimize complex, high-visibility Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
Connect Tableau to various data warehouses and multiple database platforms using live and extract-based connections.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring software code meets design constraints.
Develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse datasets to drive continuous improvement of software systems.
Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate code, create unit tests, and improve delivery speed.
Translate business requirements into secure, accessible, and maintainable data visualizations.
Troubleshoot and integrate APIs, including REST APIs and BI platform integrations.
Validate data accuracy, dashboard functionality, and performance across all production BI solutions.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Expert-level Tableau skills to design, build, optimize, and troubleshoot complex, high-visibility dashboards.
Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard embedding, packaged (.twbx) and un-packaged (.twb) workbooks.
Experience with Python for automation, data processing, or BI development.
Extensive experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting APIs, including REST APIs and BI platform integrations.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine code and documentation.
Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
