What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative security solutions to prevent misuse and malicious behavior.
Develop high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation.
Conduct discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios to identify and assess security risks.
Create processes to evaluate the effectiveness of current security controls and evolve protocols based on regulations.
Apply AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to strengthen security testing and ensure auditability.
Recommend business modifications to stakeholders to address security needs during periods of vulnerability.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations for alignment with security and auditability expectations.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Proficiency across SDLC execution, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
Experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing.
Proficiency in Python, AWS, and System Design (preferred).
