What you'll do

  • Create API-driven integrations between network platforms and internal systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.
  • Translate manual operational procedures into codified, repeatable automation scripts.
  • Lead the automation of product deployments and customer journeys.
  • Build APIs for products and services using Python and various orchestration tools.
  • Integrate AI-assisted development tools to accelerate system design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure all automation artifacts follow best practices for performance, maintainability, and security.
  • Manage the integration of AI outputs while ensuring compliance with security and ethical standards.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, military service, or education.
  • 3+ years of Python development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python for building automation tooling, integrations, and workflow orchestration (preferred).
  • Experience with Nautobot (preferred).
  • Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, Google ADK/A2A, AG-UI, and other common open-source libraries for AI workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with OpenAI API spec, MCP, Django, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, React, FastAPI, and OAuth (preferred).
  • Extensive expertise in Microservices, RESTful API, event-driven architectures, and Ansible for network automation (preferred).
  • Proficiency with legacy infrastructure and cloud platforms like OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, or Kubernetes (preferred).
