What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, high-performance Python frameworks for critical financial applications.
Develop software solutions specifically for Stress Testing and Regulatory Risk projects in the Market Risk domain.
Implement and manage distributed systems using microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization.
Build and secure RESTful APIs while ensuring integration across various database systems like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Execute automated testing and performance optimization for high-availability production environments.
Manage project technical aspects including planning, governance, and ownership of key initiatives.
Integrate AI/ML tools and frameworks into development workflows and software solutions.
Enforce SDLC best practices and maintain code quality through rigorous peer reviews.

What we're looking for

10+ years of hands-on experience in application development, primarily with Python.
Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.x, including frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Advanced knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems (microservices), and secure coding practices.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing quantitative or calculation-intensive solutions using advanced computation libraries.
Exposure to AI/ML tools, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and Generative AI concepts.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
