This role involves overseeing reconditioning workflows, labor forecasting, vehicle quality standards, and lot operations while utilizing AI and machine learning to automate processes for speed and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will develop roadmaps, write actionable narratives, and conduct site visits to gather requirements from technicians and shop leadership. Key technical competencies include proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma, along with an AI-first approach to research and prototyping. Required skills include experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial engineering to solve complex problems regarding throughput and labor utilization within a high-volume automotive reconditioning environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead and coach a team of product managers to develop roadmaps for the reconditioning network.
  • Manage the end-to-end development of software systems for inventory management and vehicle processing.
  • Conduct on-site research at inspection centers and auctions to identify user pain points and requirements.
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL and BI tools to provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to design and implement AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Define and track key performance indicators such as cycle time, labor efficiency, and cost per unit.
  • Create clear technical requirements, project briefs, and documentation to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Execute experiments and interpret results to drive continuous improvements in operational workflows.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field from an accredited institution.
  • Six years of product experience for mid-level consideration or four years for senior-level consideration.
  • Domain experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
  • Fluency in SQL and proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
  • An AI-first approach to product work using AI tools for research, analysis, and prototyping.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
  • Experience with enterprise software, lean manufacturing, or high-throughput operations (preferred).
