Lead Product Manager, Quoting & Distribution joins the product team to own the company's quoting and distribution charter. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the quoting and binding platform, including orchestration, API and integration layers, vendor data ecosystems, and application data management. The successful candidate will define multi-year strategies to modernize infrastructure, expand partner integrations, and embed AI-native capabilities into workflows to improve quote-to-bind conversion rates. Key responsibilities include translating complex business requirements into actionable PRDs, managing third-party vendor connections, and bridging the gap between engineering and distribution teams. The role requires expertise in API-heavy platforms, data pipelines, and insurance-related distribution channels. Candidates must possess experience in P&C insurance or financial services to solve challenges related to scaling quote experiences across diverse distribution channels while ensuring high data quality and governance.
Define and own the multi-year product strategy for the quoting, binding, and API integration layers.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including discovery, prioritization, requirements gathering, and post-launch performance.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable PRDs, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
Drive the evolution of the vendor data ecosystem to ensure high-quality data and scalable partner connections.
Integrate AI-native capabilities into quoting workflows to improve automation, accuracy, and speed across distribution channels.
Act as the primary liaison between sales, distribution partners, and engineering to align technical solutions with business needs.
Monitor and improve key performance metrics including quote-to-bind conversion rates and gross written premium growth.
Influence company-level prioritization by communicating data-driven narratives regarding trade-offs and product outcomes to leadership.
What we're looking for
Must have 7+ years of experience in product management including full ownership of a product backlog and leading the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
Experience owning API-heavy or integration-dense platforms involving third-party vendors, partner APIs, and data pipelines is required.
Must have experience working with agents, distribution partners, or external sales channels to build and maintain trust.
Proven ability to bridge the gap between business and engineering by translating ambiguous problems into clear technical requirements.
Demonstrated track record of improving distribution and conversion metrics such as GWP growth and quote-to-bind rates at scale.
Ability to develop a long-term vision for a technical domain while executing on near-term sprint goals.
Strong stakeholder management skills to navigate competing priorities across business, technical, and executive audiences.
Must have product management experience in insurance, financial services, or an adjacent industry.
