What you'll do

Drive cross-group platform initiatives for identity, configuration, and API gateway standards to improve reliability and performance.
Establish shared observability frameworks, SLOs, and capacity models used by multiple engineering teams.
Define architectural guardrails, security controls, and reference implementations in partnership with SRE and security teams.
Design and write foundational code for new projects, prototypes, and complex distributed-systems problems.
Lead process, architecture, and code reviews across projects to ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
Troubleshoot highly complex systematic issues and implement innovative API versioning and interoperability strategies.
Provide expert technical guidance to customers to resolve root causes and mitigate recurrence of reported issues.
Manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets for critical high-impact projects while aligning with business priorities.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to design and develop software solutions, systems, and services.
Must be able to lead cross-group platform initiatives including identity, config, and API gateways.
Must be able to establish shared observability frameworks, SLOs, and capacity models.
Must be able to provide technical guidance and coaching in software architecture and best practices.
Must be able to implement secure software development practices and security controls.
Must be able to lead project initiatives for periodic maintenance and testing of systems.
