What you'll do

Develop cloud-native services for robot registration, identity management, mission orchestration, and fleet telemetry.
Build scalable backend microservices using distributed systems architectures.
Design secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for multi-vendor robot integration.
Create AI-assisted, spec-driven onboarding capabilities to automate the generation of contract specifications and adapter implementations.
Develop reusable edge service frameworks to simplify robot integration while maintaining consistent cloud interfaces.
Improve the reliability, scalability, observability, and security of distributed cloud services.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews for production-ready software.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
10+ years of software development experience including large-scale backend services, distributed systems, or cloud platforms.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Experience designing APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and production cloud services.
Experience with cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams or major platform areas.
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, AI/ML, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with robotics frameworks, simulation environments, or advanced AI models like VLMs and VLA (preferred).
