What you'll do

Define the technical vision, architecture, and multi-year evolution of the OCI Build platform.
Architect scalable, secure, and highly available systems for cloud-scale software delivery.
Lead complex initiatives involving build orchestration, Kubernetes, artifact management, and CI/CD pipelines.
Review critical architectural decisions to ensure durable solutions across various engineering components.
Identify future risks in scalability and security to drive strategic technical investments.
Influence technical direction and strategy across different teams and organizational boundaries.
Mentor senior engineers to improve their system design skills and technical judgment.
Communicate complex technical strategies, trade-offs, and risk assessments to executive leadership.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience architecting and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
Expertise in software engineering and system design for complex, business-critical systems.
Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and improve organizational technical capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries and communicate strategy to executive leadership.
Experience in CI/CD, build systems, Kubernetes, compute infrastructure, developer platforms, or supply chain security (preferred).
Skills in implementing development engineering practices, platform architecture, and software platform development.
