What you'll do

Drive cross-group platform initiatives for identity, configuration, and API gateways to improve reliability and performance.
Establish shared observability frameworks, SLOs, and capacity models used by multiple engineering teams.
Define architectural guardrails, security controls, and reference implementations in partnership with SRE and security teams.
Design and write foundational code for new projects, prototypes, and complex software features.
Lead process, architecture, and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and drive technical improvements.
Troubleshoot highly complex systematic issues and implement innovative API versioning and interoperability strategies.
Provide expert technical guidance to customers to resolve complex product maintenance issues and mitigate recurrence.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets for high-impact initiatives while aligning with business priorities.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to design and develop software solutions, systems, and services.
Must be able to lead project initiatives, including defining scope, architecture, and design recommendations.
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex, systematic software issues and API integrations.
Must be able to establish and manage shared observability frameworks, SLOs, and capacity models.
Must be able to implement secure software development practices and security controls.
Must be able to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to small teams and peers.
