Lead Network Engineer - EMS Platforms, AAA Services & Network Automation serves as a technical leader within the Architecture, Engineering, and Technology Support organization. The individual will act as the technical authority for EMS platforms supporting Calix, Adtran, and Nokia, while managing AAA services including TACACS+ and RADIUS. Key responsibilities include defining architecture standards, overseeing software upgrades, and developing automated workflows to reduce manual processes. To succeed, the candidate must possess expertise in NMS, OSS, and fiber broadband environments. Required technical skills include Python, Ansible, XML, JSON, YAML, and API integration. Preferred experience includes familiarity with Nokia Altiplano, Calix CMS or SMx, Adtran Mosaic, and NetBox integrations.

What you'll do

  • Define architecture standards and operational requirements for EMS, AAA, and network management platforms.
  • Lead design reviews for Calix, Adtran, and Nokia management platforms to ensure scalability and security.
  • Manage the software lifecycle, including upgrades, patch validation, and governance for EMS environments.
  • Design and implement TACACS+, RADIUS, and centralized authentication solutions with RBAC standards.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and API integrations to reduce manual processes.
  • Create automated workflows for provisioning, compliance validation, testing, and reporting.
  • Serve as the technical authority for network management platforms and core operational systems.

What we're looking for

  • Experience supporting EMS, OSS, NMS, or network management platforms for at least 5 years.
  • Experience with Calix, Adtran, or Nokia EMS platforms.
  • Experience implementing or supporting TACACS+ and RADIUS.
  • Experience developing automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.
  • Expert knowledge of EMS, NMS, OSS, and network management platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of TACACS+, RADIUS, and AAA architecture.
  • Experience supporting fiber broadband and FTTH environments.
  • Experience with Nokia Altiplano, Calix CMS/SMx/Cloud, Adtran Mosaic, or NetBox (preferred).
