Lead Mendix Developer / Senior Mendix Developer

What you'll do

• Design and develop modular Mendix applications by configuring domain models, microflows, and pages for complex workflows.
• Implement and optimize Mendix REST API integrations to securely exchange data with internal and external systems.
• Configure and manage Mendix security settings, including user roles, navigation profiles, and entity access rules.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot runtime issues by analyzing logs and optimizing queries.
• Coordinate with testers to validate features, perform defect analysis, and support production deployments.
• Document solution designs, configuration decisions, and integration patterns for long-term maintenance.
• Translate business requirements into Mendix designs that reflect life and annuities insurance processes.

What we're looking for

• Bring at least four to eight years of overall professional experience with a substantial focus on Mendix projects in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Mendix application development, including microflows, domain models, pages, and data validation.
• Show deep practical experience in designing and implementing Mendix REST API integrations with robust error handling and authentication.
• Exhibit solid proficiency in Mendix security concepts such as role-based access, entity-level constraints, and secure navigation.
• Display familiarity with agile or iterative delivery approaches emphasizing incremental releases and continuous feedback.
• Utilize any exposure to life and annuities insurance to shape requirements, data models, and workflows (preferred).
• Communicate clearly with product owners, architects, and testers to ensure shared understanding of Mendix features and security.
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification or equivalent Mendix professional credential (preferred).
