JOB TITLE: Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Powering Identity & Access Management at Scale
As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the CTO/IAM team, you will apply deep technical expertise to design, develop, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions for identity and access management. You will drive workstreams to modernize technology processes, manage service health targets, and automate manual operational work. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting priority incidents, performing capacity and performance analysis, and defining monitoring frameworks for noiseless alerting. You must utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure analysis while ensuring data security. Required skills include experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker, alongside proficiency in scripting languages and cloud-native practices. You will also use observability platforms like Dynatrace or Datadog to monitor application health and manage migrations across public and private cloud environments.
Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting for infrastructure problems of moderate complexity.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation while ensuring data security.
Architect and implement changes to modernize technology processes and resolve issues across multiple infrastructure platforms.
Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post-mortems to support permanent solutions.
Define and drive adoption of monitoring frameworks to ensure end-to-end service telemetry and noiseless alerting.
Automate manual operational work by contributing to product area software and delivery routines.
Monitor capacity, performance, and utilization trends to implement scaling or tuning actions before availability is impacted.
Define and maintain service health targets such as availability, latency, and error rate thresholds for owned systems.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance.
Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and/or Docker.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
Experience with APM or observability platforms like Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, or AppDynamics to monitor application and service health.
Experience conducting capacity and performance analysis to proactively identify scaling, tuning, or resilience risks.
Proficient in designing, building, and deploying highly scalable software-based infrastructure components (preferred).
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages like Go or Python (preferred).
Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks and build pipelines (preferred).
