As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Infrastructure Platform Network Services team, you will lead the global delivery of network and connectivity services. You will orchestrate post-order carrier milestones, coordinate install and cutover executions, and manage end-to-end testing and BAU handovers. Your role involves partnering with internal stakeholders and external telecom providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective deployments. You must possess deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies across Layers 0–3, including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular, and satellite connectivity. You will also utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure analysis and design documentation. Key skills include managing change control, overseeing SLAs, and navigating cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures within a global financial or regulated enterprise environment.
Orchestrate post-order carrier milestones and drive risk mitigation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Coordinate site scheduling, internal handoffs, and maintenance windows for network install and cutover execution.
Plan and execute testing against acceptance criteria while managing test evidence and implementation exceptions.
Complete BAU handovers with required metadata and documentation to ensure operational readiness and auditability.
Execute decommission and disconnect activities following established governance and closure evidence requirements.
Coordinate with telecom providers and internal teams to drive performance against SLAs from design through handover.
Manage change control inputs, cost governance, and documentation hygiene across all connectivity implementations.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate infrastructure analysis, design documentation, and automation routines.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proven implementation or service delivery experience within a global financial or regulated enterprise environment.
Deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies (Layers 0–3), including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular, and satellite.
Experience coordinating delivery with telecom service providers and managed service providers, including contract and SLA oversight.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and build trust across business and technical domains.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent implementations across geographies.
Working familiarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures (preferred).
Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator (preferred).
