As a lead developer, you will collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions using data movement tools and distributed computing systems. The role requires proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, and AWS. You will work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases to build robust cloud-based solutions. Key responsibilities include performing unit tests, conducting code reviews, and managing data modeling for warehousing to solve complex problems regarding data quality, governance, and permissible use.

What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and support technical solutions using data movement tools and technologies.
Build scalable platforms for delivering omnichannel messages across owned and paid Adtech channels.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Optimize information systems for end-users and downstream consumers through sound data design practices.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technology trends.
Perform unit tests and conduct peer code reviews to ensure high performance and quality.
Implement real-time data streaming applications using distributed computing tools like Spark and Kafka.

What we're looking for

Master's Degree (Preferred).
At least 4 years of experience in application development.
At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and ETL tools.
Experience with distributed computing tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, or MySQL.
Experience with data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake) and NoSQL implementations (Mongo, Cassandra).
Work authorization that require immigration support from an employer.
