As a Lead, Software Engineer within PGIM Product Technology, you will design and deliver modern, high-performance user interfaces with a focus on ReactJS front-end development. Establish application architecture standards for state management, API integration, and data access.
Lead a small engineering team by providing technical direction, conducting code reviews, and offering mentorship.
Define and extend CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with Infrastructure and DevOps teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, coding standards, and operational playbooks.
Drive the adoption of best practices for security, performance, and accessibility across all development layers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on enterprise-scale web applications.
Recent hands-on leadership experience in React-based front-end development.
Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and contemporary front-end frameworks and tooling.
Experience developing or supporting SSR-based React applications integrated with backend services.
Experience building UI using Microsoft Power pages.
Strong experience designing and building backend services using .NET, including API design and security.
Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and queries.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud-native application development and production operations.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to engineering teams.
Financial Services industry experience—particularly within Asset Management, institutional funds, or mutual funds (preferred).
Microsoft or cloud-related certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
