The Lead, Business Intelligence, Information Security Governance joins the Information Security Governance team to build a new business intelligence capability from the ground up. This role focuses on improving visibility into technology risk, performance, and execution by designing and delivering executive-ready Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and AI-enabled reports. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, including data modeling, metric governance, and reporting frameworks. Key responsibilities include optimizing SQL queries, establishing reporting standards, and ensuring data quality. You will utilize a modern technology stack including Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, and Claude. By partnering with cross-functional teams, you will solve complex data challenges to provide actionable insights and strengthen trust in critical metrics across the Information Security Governance domain.
Design and deliver Power BI dashboards, executive scorecards, and AI-enabled reports to provide insights into technology risk and performance.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions including data models, reporting frameworks, and metric definitions.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and relational data models to ensure reliable data extraction and reporting performance.
Establish reporting standards, dashboard templates, and governance practices to support a growing analytics capability.
Apply data governance best practices to strengthen metric definitions, data lineage, and overall data quality.
Leverage Copilot, Claude, and Microsoft Fabric to accelerate reporting workflows and generate actionable executive communications.
Implement responsible AI practices by validating AI-generated outputs and ensuring data sensitivity awareness.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and enhanced analytics capabilities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise analytics solutions using Power BI.
Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, data normalization, and reporting performance optimization.
Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and Claude to support analytics and reporting.
Ability to define metrics and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and influence skills to lead across business, technology, and risk teams.
Demonstrated ability to apply responsible AI practices, including validation of AI-generated outputs and protection of sensitive information.
Experience building executive dashboards, board-level reporting, or governance scorecards (preferred).
