The Information Assurance Lead joins the Information Assurance branch to help establish a new team and mentor IA Engineers within an Agile development environment. This role is responsible for overseeing information system security, ensuring compliance with established policies, and conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses. The lead will manage systems accreditation, monitor for unauthorized access or malware, and coordinate with internal teams to integrate security into development processes. Key technical requirements include experience with UNIX/LINUX operating systems, scripting languages, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, virtualization, and data encryption. The candidate must possess a Security+ certification or higher and an active TS/SCI clearance.
