Land Mobile Radio System Administrator

What you'll do

• Collect, review, and maintain system logging data for monitoring, audit readiness, and security compliance.
• Analyze vulnerability scans and system reports to identify issues requiring investigation or remediation.
• Monitor systems for anomalies, configuration drift, and indicators of security concerns.
• Perform deep-dive analysis into LMR system health, availability, and overall security posture.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage system updates, patching, and maintenance windows.
• Partner with internal teams to identify process efficiencies and opportunities for automation.
• Document technical findings, actions taken, risks, and recommended improvements for operational reporting.
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for LMR system issues.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in the field.
• Experience administering, monitoring, or supporting mission-critical communications, infrastructure, network, or security systems.
• Working knowledge of system logging, log review, vulnerability scanning, and security monitoring concepts.
• Ability to analyze scan results, identify trends, and recommend practical remediation steps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to investigate technical issues across systems, tools, and operational processes.
• Ability to document findings and communicate risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
