RF Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a small team of RF engineers to drive technical growth and best practices.
• Perform failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action implementation for Land Mobile Radio systems.
• Conduct requirements, functional, and performance analyses for system design, integration, and verification.
• Design, plan, and execute test plans and procedures to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
• Provide remote technical support to Field Service Representatives for hardware troubleshooting and test execution.
• Evaluate product specifications and vendor capabilities to support long-term lifecycle planning.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to project leaders, program managers, and customers.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading engineering failure analysis, experimental testing, and results evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Sources, Power Meters, and Communication Analyzers (preferred).
• Strong foundation in RF principles including noise analysis, link budgets, antenna radiation pattern analysis, and propagation modeling (preferred).
