What you'll do
- Update P6 daily progress using progressing sheets.
- Distribute daily and weekly schedule progressing sheets to Area Managers, Production, and Subcontractors.
- Enter project delays and schedule impacts into the system.
- Identify differences between baseline contract work, change orders, and new work.
- Assist Project Management and Production teams in resolving scheduling problems.
- Prepare, verify, and distribute accurate planning, budgeting, and reporting products.
- Attend Project Management Team, Production, and other required meetings.
What we're looking for
- Typically has an AA/AS plus two years of directly related experience, or three years of directly related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of industrial quality, safety, and resource loading.
- Ability to effectively multi-task while following instructions and showing a willingness to learn.
- Must be organized and team oriented.
- Experience with building complex schedules (preferred).
- Familiarity with ship repair, ship building, or maintenance terminology (preferred).
