What you'll do

Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and provide technical skills during research and product development.
Analyze project effects on engineering, facilities, and labor pools to determine cost-efficient resource methods.
Design systems, software, and equipment layouts based on practical requirements.
Develop, implement, install, test, modify, and operate complex equipment and systems.
Support team members with experiment design, materials, and equipment setup or maintenance.
Perform troubleshooting and installations onboard submarines, carriers, and destroyers as required.
Monitor and document experiments and lab equipment to ensure technical competence.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
In-depth technical knowledge of practical operational processes in a specific engineering area.
Technical competence in the setup, monitoring, and documentation of experiments and lab equipment.
Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task (preferred).
Commitment to ongoing professional development (preferred).
Ability to identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation (preferred).
