JOB TITLE: IT Systems Administrator (TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Clearance Required) The IT Systems Administrator joins the Information Assurance Security team to support Restricted Ground Systems. This role focuses on maintaining the day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of Information Systems for DoD security programs. Key responsibilities include supporting Information System Risk Management Framework activities, such as categorizing systems, preparing packages, reviewing vulnerability scans, and executing Change Control processes. The successful candidate will install and configure servers, perform weekly audits, and execute security testing to ensure correct control implementation. Required technical skills include RHEL and Windows Administration, experience with SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and ACAS/Nessus, and proficiency in Assured File Transfer procedures. The role addresses the critical business problem of vulnerability resolution and incident response throughout the systems life cycle.

What you'll do

Support Information System Risk Management Framework activities including system categorization and IS package preparation.
Maintain the day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of Information Systems for DoD programs.
Perform weekly system audit reviews, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management.
Execute monthly vulnerability scans and coordinate with team members to adjudicate results.
Perform security testing and evaluation to ensure correct implementation of security controls.
Support the assessment and mitigation of vulnerabilities throughout a systems life cycle.
Perform incident response and cleanup actions per company or customer directions.
Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of according to the System Security Plan.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area plus 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in RHEL and Windows Administration is required.
Experience with system security assessment tools like SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and ACAS/Nessus is required.
Proficiency in Assured File Transfer (AFT) procedures is required.
DoD 8570 Certification meeting IAM Level I (e.g., Security+ CE, CAP, GSLC) is preferred.
