IT Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage L3 support for network incidents, problems, and requests.
• Propose infrastructure improvements to increase the performance of the local network.
• Act as a technical consultant for internal customers and international technical teams.
• Serve as the primary expert for regional LAN, wireless, and network security systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate IT infrastructure and system performance.
• Create and enforce network technology standards policies for North America.
• Research emerging technologies to improve cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
• Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated IT systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of relevant networking experience in an industrial environment.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking certification is required.
• CCIE or equivalent networking certification is preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Expertise in LAN, WAN, WiFi, and network security products including proxies, firewalls, IDS, and IPS.
• Preferred experience with Routing (BGP/OSPF), MPLS, VXLAN, F5 Loadbalancers, and physical cabling standards.
• Work authorization will be considered.
