IT Business Relationship Manager, Data & Analytics Strategy & Governance

What you'll do

• Translate business strategy into aligned IT strategies and a portfolio of programs, projects, and applications.
• Manage an active project portfolio with budgets ranging from $1M to $15MM while tracking ROI and cost reductions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for data governance and represent workstreams on pan-Abbott standards teams.
• Ensure all data management practices comply with legal statutes, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
• Partner with business leaders to identify requirements and recommend innovative IT solutions to improve processes.
• Manage risks, resolve conflicts, and negotiate priorities between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
• Lead global virtual teams across different cultures while managing people leadership and capacity planning.
• Oversee the lifecycle of data platforms, including advanced analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and data privacy.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, business administration, engineering, or a related healthcare-relevant field.
• 8-10 years of IT or Data Analytics experience in large or mid-sized multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations.
• Proficiency in data, analytics, and AI technologies including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, cloud services, data lakes/warehouses, and Power BI.
• Experience implementing data management practices such as modernization, records management, master data, governance, quality, privacy, and data mesh.
• Experience leading teams with both direct and indirect responsibility.
• Proven experience setting data and IT strategy while ensuring business-IT alignment.
• Experience managing a project portfolio with budgets ranging from $1M to $15MM.
• Experience in vendor management and the complete software life cycle, including privacy and security aspects.
