What you'll do

Architect end-to-end cloud media library systems and technical directions for large-scale user bases.
Build production-grade cloud syncing and collaboration infrastructure for core features in Apple creativity apps.
Develop performant, multi-threaded Swift code to manage media pipelines and on-device storage.
Ensure the performance and correctness of data synchronization between local devices and cloud states.
Translate complex technical tradeoffs into clear decisions for both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive alignment across design, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver polished features.
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar through architectural leadership.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience shipping production code on iOS and/or macOS platforms.
Advanced Swift proficiency demonstrated through shipped frameworks, performance-critical systems, or large codebases.
Deep expertise in cloud syncing architectures and media management technologies for consumer or professional products.
Proven technical lead experience including scoping, cross-team coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Strong command of concurrency patterns and multi-threaded programming with a focus on correctness and throughput.
Solid computer science foundations in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design at production scale.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.
Experience with CloudKit, AVFoundation/AVKit, and relational data layers like SQLite or Core Data (preferred).
