Intern, Info Sec Systems Engineer joins the team to provide technical guidance and oversight in assessing security infrastructure, network architecture, and system design to protect enterprise systems and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the testing and operation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, and software deployment tools. The position also involves performing product evaluations and providing technical advice on information assurance best practices. Candidates should possess knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, LAN/WAN networking, and security infrastructure like IPSec and VPNs. Assess security infrastructure and network architecture to ensure protection of enterprise systems and applications.

What we're looking for
Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain the required security clearance.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols (preferred).
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security infrastructure such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSec, and VPNs (preferred).
Knowledge of Computer/System Security topics including Antivirus, Authentication, Authorization, Access Control, Cryptography, SSO, Business Continuity Planning, and Application Security (preferred).
