As an Intellectual Property Security Engineer within the Hardware IP Security team, you will protect intellectual property from malicious and accidental misuse. You will build secure-by-default workflows and environments, craft training materials, implement security policies, and investigate threats to the integrity of the security infrastructure. Your daily work involves defining priorities, planning schedules, and collaborating with Hardware Engineering and IT partners to improve practices while maintaining engineering productivity. You must utilize threat-modeling techniques including data flows, trust boundaries, and STRIDE-style analysis. Required skills include securing Linux-based on-prem or cloud infrastructure through authentication, hardening, patching, logging, and incident response. You will also address specific challenges like securing AI-assisted developer workflows, including connected CLIs, agent permissions, prompt injection, and data leakage within semiconductor design environments.

What we're looking for
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience.
Established and led high-performing technical teams across hardware engineering and/or information security.
Strong threat-modeling experience, including data flows, trust boundaries, STRIDE-style analysis, and translating findings into mitigations.
Experience securing Linux-based on-prem or cloud infrastructure at scale, including authentication, authorization, hardening, patching, logging, and incident response.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present risk and work to senior management.
5+ years as technical team lead bridging engineering, product, and customers (preferred).
Experience securing AI-assisted developer workflows, including connected CLIs, agent permissions, prompt injection, and data leakage (preferred).
