TL;DR · Infrastructure Resiliency Lead Associate Director

Infrastructure Resiliency Lead Assoc Director serves as a senior leader with enterprise-wide ownership of IT resiliency strategy and execution. This role is responsible for managing business continuity, disaster recovery, high availability architecture, and crisis management frameworks across a global infrastructure estate. The individual will design geo-resilience models, manage DORA and other regulatory compliance requirements, and lead large, complex programs for clients in financial services and other regulated industries. Key responsibilities include selling resiliency engagements to C-suite audiences, managing portfolio P&L, and providing thought leadership on chaos engineering and AI-driven testing. The role requires expertise in multi-cloud HA patterns across AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as deep knowledge of global regulatory frameworks like FRB SR 20-4 and APRA CPS 230 to ensure operational resilience against major disruptions.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end IT resiliency strategy including business continuity, disaster recovery, high availability, and geo-resilience designs.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of accountability for DORA compliance and other operational-resilience regulatory requirements.
  • Design and manage crisis management frameworks, including simulation exercises, runbook governance, and executive escalation protocols.
  • Develop and oversee multi-region failover models while accounting for data sovereignty and concentration-risk requirements.
  • Sell and shape resiliency engagements by leading pursuits and presenting proposals to CIOs, CROs, and boards.
  • Manage the commercial performance of sold engagements, including P&L ownership and client satisfaction.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends like AI-driven testing, chaos engineering, and third-party risk.
  • Build and lead a high-performing resiliency practice by recruiting talent and developing next-generation leaders.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operational resilience, or technology risk with a specialty in BC/DR and HA architecture.
  • Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles overseeing resiliency strategy, regulatory compliance, or crisis response for large enterprises.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience), or an Associate’s Degree with at least 6 years of work experience.
  • Expertise in BC/DR and HA architecture including multi-cloud patterns and geo-resilient multi-region failover.
  • Proficiency in global regulatory compliance for DORA, PRA/FCA, FRB, and APRA CPS 230.
  • Experience in crisis management, including live tabletop simulations and executive escalation protocols.
  • Ability to manage commercial performance, including P&L ownership and C-suite engagement.
  • Financial services experience, direct regulator engagement, industry certifications (CBCP/MBCP), or chaos engineering experience (preferred).
