INFORMATION TECHNOLIGY MANAGER The INFORMATION TECHNOLIGY MANAGER joins the Network Operations and Cybersecurity Program team to support Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network activities. This role involves leading a diverse team of engineers and administrators while providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation. The manager oversees the end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT services, ensuring performance meets established metrics. Daily responsibilities include technical leadership in designing and maintaining VDI, desktop imaging, patching procedures, SharePoint solutions, web services, Active Directory, and Exchange. The position requires managing an IT program exceeding 200 FTEs while overseeing infrastructure maintenance, change management, and network administration tasks like bandwidth management and protocol usage statistics. Key competencies include information systems, people management, and systems management. The role addresses the technical challenge of maintaining integrated networks and dispersed networks within a defense and intelligence context.

What you'll do

  • Lead a team of engineers and administrators by providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery and operation of customer-facing enterprise IT services.
  • Provide technical leadership for VDI, desktop imaging, patching, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Exchange systems.
  • Monitor network performance metrics including uptime, response time, bandwidth utilization, and load balancing.
  • Execute change management processes, including managing maintenance windows and deconflicting activities.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and provide audit information such as access logs and application logs.
  • Oversee the management of a dispersed workforce supporting integrated and distributed networks.
  • Implement strategies to optimize service delivery and ensure performance meets established KPIs.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
  • 7 years of information technology experience with DoD efforts.
  • Managerial experience with DoD efforts.
  • Experience managing an IT department or program of over 200 FTEs.
  • Experience managing enterprise networks, dispersed workforces, and device maintenance including patches and drivers.
  • Advanced degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred); Navy specific network and cyber experience (preferred).
