What you'll do

  • Perform hands-on work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for mission-critical systems.
  • Develop RMF documentation including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and compliance checks within a DevSecOps environment.
  • Perform static code analysis and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux security.
  • Execute security assessments and compliance scans for various systems and devices.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science/Math field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required at time of hire (Top Secret preferred).
  • Active Security+ or CISSP certification is required.
  • Expertise in software engineering and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.
  • Experience with STIGs, RMF documentation, and vulnerability assessments in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Technical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Application Security and Development (ASD) STIG, and static code analysis.
  • Participation in cybersecurity working groups and Agile teams (preferred).
