Hypersonics Lab Manager, Software Systems Test Environment

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of a classified engineering lab.
• Ensure lab operations comply with all applicable DoD security requirements and policies.
• Identify and mitigate lab safety, security, technical, and operational risks.
• Support engineering integration and test activities as needed.
• Develop and manage the lab budget, facility improvements, and long-range infrastructure planning.
• Manage equipment calibrations, lifecycle replacements, and lab access.
• Partner with security teams to maintain secure and effective laboratory operations.

What we're looking for

• Must have an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Must have 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have experience managing day-to-day operations of an engineering or test lab, including equipment, facility resources, and scheduling.
• Must have experience identifying and mitigating laboratory hazards such as electrical safety, ESD, RF/EMI, hazardous materials, and fire protection.
• Must have knowledge of and experience handling classified data and material.
• Must have working knowledge of NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117, DSS/DCSA requirements, and other applicable security policies.
• Must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active secret clearance and reside in or be willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
