What you'll do

Optimize software products and annotation workflows for the global annotation operations team.
Research human performance to design solutions for users with diverse languages, cultures, and abilities.
Conduct mixed-methods human factors research to evaluate user interface designs.
Design and execute qualitative and quantitative experiments to test human-in-the-loop evaluations.
Analyze data to improve machine learning model performance and data annotation accuracy.
Develop highly-usable and performant interfaces in collaboration with UX designers and software engineers.
Validate AI-generated output and develop skills in composing prompts for AI tools.

What we're looking for

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or an equivalent degree.
3+ years of experience in mixed-methods human factors research, specifically evaluating user interface designs.
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative experimental design, statistical data analysis, and reporting.
Excellent listening, communication, and interview skills for individual and focus group settings.
Experience with human-in-the-loop evaluation, data annotation workflows, or AI/LLM model development.
Published research in human-in-the-loop model evaluation, data annotation workflows, or human-AI interaction (preferred).
Proficiency in data exploration and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R Studio (preferred).
Experience using AI tools for prompt composing, skill development, and validating AI-generated output (preferred).
