What you'll do

Design and optimize large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam.
Develop and maintain data models and transformations in BigQuery to support analytics and machine learning use cases.
Build scalable data architectures utilizing GCP services including Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Composer.
Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems while ensuring quality, lineage, and governance.
Create robust ETL/ELT workflows and orchestration pipelines using cloud-native tooling.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Implement security, access control, and compliance measures for data within cloud environments.
Support ML pipelines and MLOps workflows including feature engineering and training data generation.

What we're looking for

Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or distributed systems.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience designing and building large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines using Python and distributed systems.
Expertise in the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem including BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Pub/Sub, and Composer.
Proficiency in ETL/ELT development, event-driven architectures, and Spark-based processing.
Proficiency in version control, CI/CD practices, testing, and code reviews.
Experience supporting ML pipelines, MLOps workflows, and Generative AI or LLM-based systems.
Experience with data governance, lineage, metadata management, and building reliable distributed pipelines.
