JOB TITLE: Helpdesk Specialist The Helpdesk Specialist provides first-tier software and hardware support for users, PCs, notebooks, printers, and other peripherals. What you'll do

Install and configure computer clients, notebooks, and peripherals.
Maintain software images for computers and notebooks.
Repair laser printers and manage toner and parts inventory.
Create and modify user accounts and mailboxes.
Perform first-line troubleshooting for networks, servers, and applications.
Test new software and operating systems for compatibility.
Monitor clients for viruses, spyware, and security vulnerabilities.
Provide after-hours on-call support.

What we're looking for

1+ years of work experience is required.
1+ years of experience in PC hardware, software, and laser printer repair (preferred).
1+ years of customer service experience (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in a hard science (preferred).
Experience with PC/Notebook hardware, Windows OS, MS Office, TCP/IP, peripherals, and Networking/Internet is required.
Proficiency in Active Directory Administration, AS400, Cisco Networking, IP Phones, and Hyper-V VMs on Windows Server is required.
Skills in OS/Application Deployment Tools, Imaging Software, Programming, and PowerShell scripting are required.
Knowledge of Windows versions 7, 8, and 10, antivirus technologies, and mobile device management is required.
