Head of Digital, Pharmaceutical Technical Development

What you'll do

• Define and champion the digital vision and strategy for the research side of Pharmaceutical Technical Development.
• Translate high-level strategy into executable multi-year capability blueprints and executive-level roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams to influence investment decisions toward high-value digital initiatives.
• Lead executive-level diagnostics of complex business processes to identify and validate disruptive digital transformation opportunities.
• Act as the ultimate Product Owner to govern the implementation and measurable value capture of digital initiatives.
• Oversee the transition of digital products into industrialized, sustainable operating models for long-term value delivery.
• Cultivate strategic alliances and partnerships with external technology companies to accelerate the digital advantage.
• Sponsor organizational change management and capability-building initiatives to foster a pervasive digital mindset.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS in a Science or Engineering field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership and relevant industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading and scaling global, matrixed organizations.
• Experience architecting and implementing digital transformations, preferably in the pharma industry (preferred).
• Proven track record of leading disruptive change and governing complex, transformative initiatives at scale.
• Experience in systems/data management and informatics strategy development and execution.
• Experience in managing budgets and governing strategic vendor and partner relationships.
• Proven skill in building, guiding, and inspiring high-performing teams and architecting cross-functional collaborations.
