As the Head of Data - Corporate Responsibility, you will serve as the Data Owner Director, setting the strategic direction for how corporate responsibility data is sourced, governed, integrated, protected, and used. You will oversee data strategy for critical assets including xCR CRM, Morgan Impact, and market-based analytics. Your daily work involves partnering with business, product, technology, reporting, analytics, risk, and controls teams to define data needs, establish accountability, and mitigate risks. You will ensure information is fit for business operations, reporting, advanced analytics, and responsible AI. You must demonstrate expertise in data management principles, governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management. Key skills include defining multiyear roadmaps, leading large-scale data initiatives, and managing data quality, metadata, classification, and protection across complex, matrixed organizational boundaries.
Set and execute the corporate responsibility data strategy in alignment with business priorities and firmwide standards.
Establish ownership and accountability for critical data assets to ensure they are governed, protected, and integrated.
Lead data strategy and governance for priority platforms including xCR CRM and Morgan Impact.
Identify and prioritize data requirements for reporting, advanced analytics, machine learning, and responsible AI use cases.
Direct processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the entire data lifecycle.
Deliver metrics and reporting to senior leadership regarding data quality, governance effectiveness, and risk remediation.
Lead and mentor direct and matrixed teams by setting clear priorities and execution milestones.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10 or more years of experience in data management, data governance, data risk management, analytics, business transformation, or a related discipline.
Deep understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, operating models, and data lifecycle management.
Experience establishing ownership, accountability, and governance for critical data assets within a complex, matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute data strategies, maturity assessments, and multiyear roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, build cross-functional partnerships, and drive decisions across organizational boundaries.
Experience leading large-scale data initiatives and addressing complex data sourcing, integration, quality, and management challenges.
Advanced degree or professional certification, such as Certified Information Management Professional or Certified Data Management Professional (preferred).
