Executive Director, Head of Data Management and Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and execute the data management and engineering strategy to align technical investments with marketing objectives.
• Lead teams responsible for data architecture, integration, AI/ML modeling, and the creation of reusable data products.
• Manage global email audience targeting including segmentation logic, preference management, and sanctions screening integration.
• Develop a multi-year roadmap for capabilities supporting lead generation, client intelligence, and digital analytics.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions involving data modeling, transformation, and quality controls.
• Establish product management disciplines including discovery, prioritization, release planning, and adoption measurement.
• Ensure data governance across the lifecycle, including quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, and compliance.
• Recruit and develop high-performing technical talent while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in data engineering, data architecture, data management, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience managing technical teams and complex delivery portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, orchestration, and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and executable roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, security, and auditability.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical issues to nontechnical audiences.
• Practical understanding of AI-assisted engineering and the responsible use of AI-generated outputs.
