Hardware Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Create and maintain system tests and infrastructure to validate Mac and iPad hardware.
• Develop test frameworks and automations to validate complex hardware systems.
• Build automated tools for large-scale test data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop high-speed signal integrity test software for mobile and computing products.
• Create an automation software framework as a foundation for signal integrity data collection.
• Use Python to create hardware tests for components and subsystems.
• Manage test data using databases like Redis or PostgreSQL.
• Utilize Splunk or Tableau to automate the analysis of test data.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience using CAD software to review hardware system and board designs.
• Ability to identify functional hardware design and test goals in system block diagrams and board design schematics.
• Proficiency in coding with Python to create hardware tests for components and subsystems.
• Experience creating and maintaining object-oriented test automation frameworks for hardware validation and production tests.
• Experience working with GIT or other code revision control systems in shared software development projects.
• Experience using databases (Redis, PostgreSQL), data visualization tools (Splunk, Tableau), and issue management tools (Jira, Bugzilla).
