What you'll do

  • Design and modify guidance and control systems for fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Develop navigation systems using sensor fusion of IMUs, magnetometers, GNSS, etc.
  • Create and refine 6-DOF simulation environments for UAS development.
  • Conduct flight testing and validation of autonomous UAS on motion platforms.
  • Write and document test plans to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware design teams to interface software solutions effectively.

What we're looking for

  • BS degree in relevant engineering field plus 5+ years developing MATLAB/Simulink control systems with auto code experience
  • Experience in developing physics-based 6 DOF simulations, motion platforms
  • Proficiency in Gazebo or similar simulation tools, MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python
  • Hands-on experience in data post-processing from simulation or flight testing
  • Expertise in developing guidance and autonomy algorithms for unmanned systems
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
