What you'll do

  • Develop and release System Technical Specification (STS) for propulsion systems.
  • Ensure system requirements meet feature and safety standards across domains.

  • Set availability targets, allocate to subsystems, and determine mitigation plans.
  • Participate in Fault Tree Analysis and create System DFMEA for propulsion systems.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in propulsion systems engineering.
  • BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, or Computer Science Engineering.
  • Extensive experience with transmission and engine controls, calibration, hardware design.
  • Understanding of system development processes including verification and validation.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and lead technical teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and negotiate effectively.
  • DFSS Blackbelt certification required; Master Blackbelt preferred.
