The Group Director, Software Engineering – Supply Chain Technology Operations leads the operational strategy, execution, and performance of technology platforms powering the end-to-end supply chain network. This role involves driving reliability, scalability, and modernization of mission-critical systems supporting fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations. The leader will define strategies for highly available platforms, drive AI and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, and lead operational excellence programs to reduce incident volume. Key responsibilities include building high-performing teams and optimizing technology investments to improve speed and cost efficiency. The position requires expertise in managing large-scale distributed systems, cloud platforms, and operational technologies. The work focuses on solving complex logistics problems by leveraging advanced analytics and automation to enhance productivity across the entire supply chain ecosystem.

Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and enable proactive issue detection.
Lead operational excellence programs to reduce incident volume and improve service performance across platforms.
Build and lead high-performing teams and operational capabilities to support company growth.
Optimize technology investments to improve speed, cost efficiency, and associate productivity.
Manage large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms for mission-critical supply chain operations.
What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 10 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
5 years’ supervisory experience.
Extensive experience leading large-scale technology operations in supply chain, logistics, retail, or other highly complex operational environments.
Proven track record of improving platform reliability, operational performance, and service delivery through modern engineering and operational practices.
Knowledge of leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to drive productivity and improve decision-making.
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area (preferred).
