The Group Director, Software Engineering – Supply Chain Technology Operations leads the operational strategy, execution, and performance of technology platforms powering an end-to-end supply chain network. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability for mission-critical systems supporting fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations. The individual will drive AI and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enable proactive issue detection while leading operational excellence programs to enhance service performance. What we're looking for
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 8 years of experience in software engineering.
Alternatively, candidates may qualify with 10 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
Candidates should have extensive experience leading large-scale technology operations in supply chain, logistics, or retail environments.
Experience managing large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms is required.
Proven ability to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency is required.
Ability to lead high-performing teams and influence across business, product, engineering, and operations organizations is required.
A Master's degree in a related field and 6 years of experience in software engineering is preferred.
